Main Technical Features of ABAG Electrical Safety and Functional Test Systems
Basic Electrical Safety and Functional Measurements
ABAG systems perform all fundamental tests required by IEC, CEI, EN, UL, CSA and equivalent standards, including dielectric withstand (Hipot), insulation resistance, protective earth (PE) continuity, earth-fault leakage current, as well as basic functional tests on current and VA power of the product under test.
Advanced Functional Measurements
ABAG systems carry out advanced functional tests such as active power (W), power factor (cos φ), frequency, active/reactive/apparent energy, and measurements on single-phase and three-phase loads up to 45 A per phase (31 kW @ 400 V). Additional tests include flow, pressure, throughput, rotational speed and other parameters on customer specification.
Standards Compliance
ABAG systems comply with all major CEI EN standards for electrical safety and functional testing, including CEI EN 60335-1 Annex A Note 1 (powered-product testing) and CEI EN 50191 (operator safety in the presence of high-voltage sources).
System Integration
All systems are natively designed for being integrated, enabling bidirectional communication with company information systems, in-process monitoring, direct interface with PLC and MES, generation of A4/receipt test reports, and complete traceability of model, serial number, lot and internal components.
Avionic / Mil-STD High-Voltage Sources
Our high-voltage sources are derived from metrological, avionic and military-grade designs, ensuring maximum reliability and preventing damage to sensitive electronic components in the products under test, even in critical applications.
Operator Safety (CEI EN 50191)
All systems are engineered to guarantee maximum operator safety, featuring interlocks, isolated power supplies, and DC high-voltage sources fully compliant with CEI EN 50191.
